I have a habit of reading books in such a way that they look brand new even after I’m done. I also enjoy sharing the books I’ve read. But once, I lent a book to a friend, and when I got it back, OMG – my heart sank 😭. It looked like it had aged a year, with folded pages everywhere and even coffee stains on some pages. I had to tell him, “Please keep the book. I don’t need it anymore.”

After that incident, I developed two strategies.

First, if someone wants to know more about a book but doesn’t want to read the whole thing, I’ll summarize it for them and share the most interesting parts I’ve read or learned.

Second, if the person is close to me and enjoys reading, I’ll buy them a new copy.

And as I am blue – a really systematic person, when I share something, it has to be precise—down to the page number! That’s why I’ve created a customized book sharing template to keep important information about each book I read. Now, whenever I share something about a book, the first thing I hand over is this template.

Recently, I gave my colleague this book “Dare to Lead,” along with the book review. He was genuinely surprised and delighted. He said, “T-Rex, I got a book, and I even received a guide on how to read it from you! What a service!”

If you like this template, feel free to contact me via email or social media, in whichever language you prefer. I’m proficient in English, Vietnamese, and ein bisschen Deutsch – a bit of German 😋. I’d be happy to share it with you.

Have a wonderful Sunday! Một ngày chủ nhật tốt lành! Schönen Sonntag! 😊
