Learning is a continuous journey for me, and unlearning is also a part of it, allowing me to start learning anew. When I lived in Vietnam, the weather was so hot that I only wore socks when I had sneakers on, and I only had a few pairs back then.
Upon moving to Germany during autumn and winter, the cold weather made me wear socks every day. I recall reading an article in a German language learning book stating that only German wear socks in summer. I was surprised by this discovery, and now I have adopted the German habit of wearing socks in summer as well 🤣😂. Consequently, I have accumulated quite a collection of socks.
Imagine if I still had only a few socks like in Vietnam; I would simply toss them together in the closet. But with the abundance of socks, I now own, it would take me a considerable amount of time to find the correct pair each morning. That’s why I have learned to fold them together. It sounds simple, but it’s been a journey spanning half the globe for me to unlearn old habits and embrace new ones.
Now, my socks are always well-organized, and I can easily find them each morning.
