On April 9, I created a Facebook page linked to this blog: https://www.facebook.com/trexonthego/. There are two simple reasons for that page. One, people can receive notifications if they follow the page, allowing them to know exactly when a new blog post is published without having to check the blog multiple times. Second, I write shorter posts on Facebook for those who prefer not to read lengthy content or have difficulty concentrating for extended periods.
Since the page was created, I decided to post on it daily. With my extraordinary discipline, it worked quite well for three days 😂. On the fourth day, my sister asked me why she couldn’t see my page anymore, which was quite strange. I made it clear that I hadn’t blocked her 😂 and also hadn’t deactivated the page.
At 4:44 am, I noticed that my account had been suspended by Facebook. I thought, “I’m a good citizen of the world, only trying to bring a bit more smile and laughter by sharing funny stories.” Yet, my account got suspended. I had 180 days to appeal my account, so I submitted the appeal right away. That morning, one of my colleagues asked me why he couldn’t see notifications for my posts. I told him it was a sad story among all my funny stories, but somehow, after I told the story, we both laughed out loud 🤣.

I told myself, “If my account gets deleted, I will write a nice complaint letter to Facebook.” I have experience writing complaint letters in German; I even passed the B1 German test with my complaint letter, so believe me, I can write a polite complaint letter 😂.
After that day, I went for a team outing in Switzerland. Because mobile data is expensive, I didn’t check the status, and mainly because our team outing was so much fun that I didn’t bother checking the status. On the train back to Germany yesterday, when we entered Germany, I logged in and saw that I was no longer suspended. Yes, Facebook broke my daily posting routine for three days, and my page got deactivated, but for me, it’s not a big deal. In the end, I experienced all these things and learned all the steps around them. The experience was worth it. So, if you ever face the same situation and you’re a good citizen of the world as well, just let me know. I’ve experienced all of this (except the complaint letter part), and I’ll help you out 😁.

It was lucky for Facebook that they hadn’t received your complaint letter 🙂
